François Bléhaut has a diverse and extensive work experience in landscape architecture and design. François started their career as an intern at Group Signes Landscape Architects in Paris, where they gained experience in various projects and participated in national landscape competitions. François then interned at AECOM Australia Pty Ltd, where they were involved in a historical garden project in Sydney and prepared drawings for a residential project. François also worked at Agence Faragou in Nice, where they contributed to the conception of a commercial mall restructuring project and designed public lightweight structures and green roofs.
In 2006, they joined ParkerRodriguez, Inc. in Washington D.C., where they worked on urban projects and played a key role in the design and development of a community park in Delaware, which included an ecological rain garden. François then joined Abel Bainnson Butz, LLP in 2009, where they worked on public projects, collaborated with project managers, and managed two NYC public projects. François also participated in public presentations and coordination meetings with NYC DDC.
From 2013 to 2016, François served as a Landscape Architect and Project Manager at Gunn Landscape Architecture, PLLC. François managed a wide range of projects, including 20+ projects in Hamptons and Connecticut, as well as 10+ roof garden designs in New York City.
In 2014, François founded their own venture, TAMARIS Landscape Design, where they specialized in high-end garden design. François was responsible for all aspects of the design process, from initial sketches to final construction drawings.
Most recently, François held the position of Director of Landscape Design at ODA, starting in 2016. In this role, they managed landscape design and project management for several projects, including the design of a 50,000 sqft roof garden and courtyards for two new residential buildings by ODA-Architecture.

François Bléhaut completed their Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree in Architecture from Ecole d'Architecture de Paris-Val-de-Seine between 2000 and 2002. Subsequently, they pursued further education in Landscape Architecture, earning a Bachelor's degree from Ecole Superieur d'Architecture des Jardins et du paysage in Paris between 2002 and 2006.
