Ian Ryan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Audio Production from SAE Institute Brisbane and has extensive experience in software engineering, particularly in web development. Currently, Ian serves as a Senior Software Engineer at Octopus Deploy since May 2021, following roles as Frontend Lead at Touch Panel Control Ltd and Senior Frontend Engineer at Connect Develop. Throughout Ian's career, there has been a consistent focus on developing hypermedia-driven JavaScript web applications utilizing React and Redux, alongside leading the development of bespoke single-page applications and content management systems during earlier positions. Notably, Ian developed an award-winning mobile app, companion website, API, and backend while at JuniorCru. Prior experience includes freelance web development, collaborating with local designers to create websites for small to medium-sized businesses and non-profits.
