Davy Hoornaert serves as Stuurman Octoo and UX maestro at Octoo since January 2022, while also working as Digitaal product ontwerper and UX mentor at Sweet Mustard since November 2017, focusing on enhancing the usability of digital workplaces and advancing product discovery maturity. Previous experience includes roles such as Gastlector UX at Howest, where Davy provided guest sessions on UX themes, Functional Analyst at The Reference, where needs analysis and usability optimization were key responsibilities, and Team Leader User Experience at EnergyICT, advocating for user-centered design practices. Earlier career stages involved software development engineering at Barco and a degree in Informatics from KU Leuven.
