Robert L. Alexander, Jr., PhD, MPH, currently serves as Vice President of Strategy and Client Services at Octane Public Relations and Advertising, a position held since April 2024. Prior to this role, Robert held significant positions in public health and research, including Senior Director of Public Health Research and Evaluation at Karna, LLC from July 2020 to April 2024, and Director of Scientific Affairs at JLI, Inc. from December 2018 to June 2020. Robert's experience also includes serving as Director of Public Health Research & Translational Science at Battelle from 2014 to 2018 and as Health Communications Specialist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from 2010 to 2014. Robert earned a PhD in Health Policy from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, a Master of Public Health in Health Policy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Rutgers University.
