Brian Taylor is an experienced project and program manager with a strong background in engineering and project delivery across various industries. Currently serving as Director and Program Manager at Octa Project Management since May 2012, Brian leads Building Safety and Compliance projects for six Waikato Hospitals under Te Whatu Ora. Brian has held senior roles in Hamilton City Council and Matamata Piako District Council, overseeing significant facilities and wastewater upgrades. With extensive experience at Tetra Pak, Brian managed projects including the design and commissioning of major dairy processing facilities, providing mentorship and coordinating teams of engineers. Previous roles include ownership of Strategic Technology Limited and various engineering positions, underpinned by a BE in Chemical & Process Engineering from the University of Canterbury.
