Daniele Mazzucca has a strong background in engineering, environmental health and safety, and general services. They started their career in 2007 with an internship at ENEA, where they gained valuable experience. In 2008, they joined OCLARO (North America) Inc. as a Senior Engineer, focusing on EHS and general services. This role continued when they transitioned to Lumentum in 2019. Additionally, in 2008, Daniele briefly worked as a math and science teacher at Istituto Comprensivo Statale "E.Curiel".

In 2006, Daniele Mazzucca completed a Master Quality degree at Uninform Group. Prior to that, they studied Scienze MM.FF.NN (Natural Sciences) at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna in the same year.
