Sharon Deng is an experienced professional in resource development and educational leadership, currently serving as the Chief Resource Development Officer at Ottawa Community Immigrant Services Organization since June 2023. Previously, Sharon held the position of Executive Director at Ottawa Chinese Community Service Centre from September 2020 to 2023 and served as Chair of TESL Ontario from 2017 to 2021, contributing to strategic initiatives and governance. Other roles include LINC Program Manager at Ottawa Community Immigrant Services, Manager of the Test Centre at Algonquin College, and Program Coordinator/Advisor at Graybridge Malkam, where Sharon led significant programs in language training. Sharon’s educational background includes a Master of Arts in Integrated Studies focusing on Adult Education from Athabasca University and a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Linguistics from Carleton University.
