Micah Miyashiro is an undergraduate mechanical engineering student at Oregon State University, expected to graduate in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Current roles include serving as an Undergraduate Researcher at Prototype Development Laboratory since April 2022 and as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Oceanit since June 2022. Prior experience includes working as an Undergraduate Researcher at Dynamic Robotics Laboratory, where reinforcement learning concepts were applied to enhance a bipedal robot's efficiency and durability. Additional positions held include Materials Engineer Assistant at Oceanit, Sales Associate at Nanko Fishing Supply, and Delivery Driver at Papa John's Pizza Hawaii. Micah completed high school education at Iolani School and Maryknoll School between 2015 and 2019.
