Katie Urbanski is an experienced Oceanographic Technical Specialist at Ocean Associates, Inc., where support is provided to NOAA CO-OPS in stakeholder services, technical training program design, and stakeholder capacity building for water data collection. Previous roles include serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Rhode Island, where contributions were made to climate change communication studies, and as a Customer Service Representative at Kelly Benefits, where promotion to the administration team was achieved within nine months. Katie's diverse experience also includes interpretive and educational roles with the National Park Service, conservation outreach with the Sultana Education Foundation, and administrative support across various organizations. Katie holds a Master of Arts in Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Environmental Studies from Franklin & Marshall College.
