Tristan Nicosia is an accomplished petroleum engineer currently serving as an OEDP Production Engineer at Oxy since July 2023. Previous experience includes a petroleum engineering internship at CountryMark and an undergraduate research assistant position at The University of Texas at Austin, where data evaluation and algorithm development contributed to drilling performance improvements. Tristan held the role of research associate with the Energy Futures Initiative, coordinating with emission policy analysts for report presentations. Additionally, data analysis training occurred during an externship at QED Energy Associates, focusing on COVID-19 production impacts. Volunteer work includes digitizing historical documents for The Landmark Society of Western New York and participating in a Costa Rica Sea Turtle Ecology course as a global citizen scientist. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, along with a high school diploma from Allendale Columbia School and completion of an engineering intensive study at the University of Rochester.
