Stephen Chan is a Senior Reservoir Engineer at Oxy since May 2014, managing operations for the Crossett field, the most mature CO2 flooded oil field in the Permian Basin, with responsibilities including reservoir surveillance, capital project execution, and reserve reporting. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Field Engineer at Schlumberger from October 2009 to December 2011, focusing on shale reservoir evaluation and completions, along with leadership roles in field operations. Earlier positions at Schlumberger as an intern involved auditing rig-up equipment and developing training materials for new engineers. Stephen Chan holds an MBA from Rice Business, a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Houston, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, also from the University of Houston.
