Julie Shochat is an experienced professional in employee experience and business consulting, currently serving as the EX Board Chair at Board.org since April 2024, where responsibilities include leading membership for a vendor-free organization focused on employee experience at major corporations. At Oxy, Julie has held multiple leadership roles since October 2018, including Director of Employee Experience, where talent engagement solutions are designed and implemented to enhance performance throughout the employee journey. Previous positions include Director of Business Transformation & Strategic Communications, and Director of the Integration Management Office, overseeing M&A integration efforts. Julie's consulting experience includes senior roles at Sendero and Enite, where a focus was placed on business transformation and organizational development within the energy sector. An entrepreneurial venture includes ownership of Shochat Photography since 2012. Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with concentrations in Management and Operations and Information Management from The Wharton School.
