Grayland Balmer is an experienced completions engineer currently at CrownQuest Operating, LLC since October 2023. Prior to this role, Grayland held various positions at SLB from February 2020 to October 2023, including Product and Service Delivery Operations Manager, overseeing cementing operations for major clients like Pioneer Natural Resources and BPX Energy, and serving as Job Delivery Lead, managing over 180 field employees across multiple rigs. Grayland began the career with reservoir engineering internships at BP and Encana Corporation in 2018 and 2017, respectively, focusing on optimizing resource plays. Additionally, Grayland was the lead organizer for the inaugural TEDx event at the Colorado School of Mines and has experience as a professional tutor in math and science. Grayland earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in 2019.
