Steve Shein, CFA has a diverse work experience starting from their role as a Financial Analyst Intern at UBS Wealth Management in 2010. Steve then worked as an Institutional Sales & Trading Intern at Livevol Inc in 2011. In 2012, they joined CBRE as a Financial Analyst in their Financial Consulting Group, where they were responsible for underwriting assets worth $1.45B. Steve then worked as a Trader at Rosenthal Collins Group from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, they founded ReVal Trading, a fintech company focused on the derivatives space. ReVal Trading was eventually acquired by a strategic buyer in 2021. Steve also had a brief stint at Go Capital LLC as a Private Equity professional in 2021. Currently, they are associated with OCA Ventures, where they started as an Investor in March 2021 and subsequently became a Senior Associate in December 2021. Steve currently holds the position of Principal at OCA Ventures since November 2023.

Steve Shein, CFA holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, which they obtained between 2020 and 2022. Steve also completed an exchange program at the University of Sydney, where they studied business. Additionally, Steve obtained their CFA certification from the CFA Institute in 2018. Steve has further expanded their knowledge with a focus on finance, investment, banking, and real estate economics at the Wisconsin School of Business. Steve has an additional certification in Venture Deals completed in the summer of 2020 through the Kauffman Fellows program.
