Masashi Takano is a seasoned consultant with extensive experience in both public and private sectors, currently serving as Co-Executive Consultant at Oriental Consultants Global since October 2018. Prior to this role, Masashi held the position of Senior Consultant at NRI (Nomura Research Institute) from October 2006 to October 2018, managing numerous public sector projects funded by JICA and multinational donors across several countries. Masashi also established and led the NRI Manila Branch Office as General Manager for a decade, overseeing over 100 projects. Earlier career highlights include senior consulting roles at NRI Singapore and Nomura Research Institute. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Agricultural Life Science and a Master of Science from The University of Tokyo, complemented by a certificate in Leadership and Communication from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economy from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology.
