Petr Mikita has a varied work experience spanning several industries. Petr started their career in 2001 as Manager of Education Centre at PVT, a.s. Petr then moved on to work as a Senior Advisor at Česka podnikatelská pojišťovna, a.s., Vienna Insurance Group from 2007 to 2010. In 2004, they joined Kooperativa pojišťovna a.s., Vienna Insurance Group as Head of Contact Center, a role that they held for nine years until 2013.
