Dana Loatman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in external affairs, corporate partnerships, and philanthropy. Currently serving as Senior Director of External Affairs at the Obama Foundation since November 2017, Dana has held various roles including Advisor to the CEO and Deputy Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations. In a recent position at Align Social Impact, Dana focused on strategy and partnerships to enhance community and social outcomes. Previous roles include Business Development & Grants Manager at My Brother's Keeper Alliance, Corporate Partnership & Sponsorship Manager at Legacy Dialogues, and various positions in nonprofit and social enterprise contexts. Dana holds a Master of Science in Social Work from Boston College and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Bowie State University.
