Matthew Koval is an accomplished professional in technical writing and instructional design, currently serving as Lead Technical Writer and Instructional Designer at Oasys International, LLC since April 2024. Previous experience includes roles at DTS as a Writer/Instructional Systems Designer and at Booz Allen Hamilton as an Instructional Designer and Writer/Editor, where contributions involved comprehensive documentation and training materials for specialized military operations. Matthew also taught English, Film, and Digital Media at Montgomery County Public Schools while leading committees and cohorts, and provided support at the Department of Housing and Urban Development, overseeing grant representatives. Early career experience includes an internship with the Maryland Department of Transportation, where data analysis and policy recommendations were key tasks. Matthew holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Education and a Master's in English from Wake Forest University, along with a B.A. in English from St. Mary's College of Maryland and additional studies at the University of Oxford.
