Tara Wong serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Oakville Public Library since July 2014, where responsibilities include participating in strategic and business planning and championing technology initiatives. Prior to this, Tara held the position of Director of Innovation and Integration, and previous roles include Professor at Algonquin College, Manager of Public Services at Regina Public Library, and Coordinator of Digital Services at Ottawa Public Library. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Library and Information Studies from Dalhousie University, completion of the Public Library Leaders Program at the University of Toronto, and a diploma in Applied Information Technology.
