Savan H Shah has extensive work experience in the finance and accounting industry. Savan H began their career at Arthur Andersen in 2000 as an Associate in Audit & Assurance. Savan H then worked at Deloitte as a Manager in Audit & Assurance from 2002 to 2004, and later as a Manager in Corporate Finance focusing on Private Equity Transaction Services from 2004 to 2006. In 2006, they joined Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. as a Senior Vice President, and eventually became a Managing Director in 2018. Currently, Savan holds the position of Managing Director and Director of Research at Oaktree Capital Management, L.P.

Savan H Shah attended Consolata Primary School in Nairobi, Kenya from 1985 to 1991. Savan H then went on to study at Oshwal High School in Nairobi, Kenya from 1992 to 1997. Finally, they attended the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School from 1997 to 2000, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
