Ricardo Chavez is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in asset-backed securitizations and structured finance. Currently serving as Assistant Vice President at Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. since September 2020, Ricardo previously held roles at KPMG US as Senior Associate in Structured Finance, where responsibilities included modeling securitization transactions and performing valuations for financial services clients. Prior to KPMG, Ricardo worked at Navient as an Analyst, focusing on capital raising for asset-backed funding, and held positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Private Wealth Management and at Smithfield Foods in a Management Trainee Program. Ricardo holds a Master of Science in Finance from IÉSEG School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Christopher Newport University.
