Jeff Mozdzierz has a strong background in educational technology and information services. Jeff started their career in 1992 as a classroom teacher and educational technology trainer at Avondale Schools, where they worked until 2001. Jeff then joined Avondale Schools again as an elementary principal and director of technology from 2001 to 2005. After that, they worked at Rochester Community Schools as the director of educational technology and information services from 2005 to 2014. Currently, they are the field services - technology director at Oakland Schools, a position they have held since 2014.

Jeff Mozdzierz received their Bachelor of Science in Education with a specialization in Elementary Special Education from Central Michigan University, where they studied from 1989 to 1992. Jeff then pursued a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on Learning Disabilities at Eastern Michigan University, completing their studies between 1993 and 1996.
