Rebecca Beeson is a dedicated librarian with extensive experience across multiple institutions, currently serving at Berkeley Public Library and Oakland Public Library since 2019 and 2021, respectively. In addition, Rebecca has been a Librarian and Media Resource Specialist at The Brandeis School of San Francisco since 2017. Prior experience includes tutoring students in study skills and essay construction from 2012 to 2021, and a role as Library Specialist II at Berkeley Public Library in 2017. Educational credentials include a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Washington, focusing on Youth Services and Education Policy, and a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature from UC Santa Barbara. Rebecca's diverse background encompasses library services, educational support, and community engagement through previous roles in library services, event coordination, and as a barista at Four Barrel Coffee.
