Philip Bent is an experienced professional with a strong background in engineering, consulting, and project management. Currently serving as Delivery Lead at The Oakland Group since June 2021, Philip has also worked as an Information Technology Consultant at Whensley-Bent Consulting Limited and as a Business Development Manager at HexxHome, where innovations in energy-efficient housing solutions were emphasized. Prior experience includes significant roles at PA Consulting in systems engineering and business development, and extensive tenure with the Royal Navy, where responsibilities encompassed systems engineering management and project management for major IT infrastructure initiatives. Philip began career training as an Electrical Engineer Apprentice at Dynamics Bristol Ltd, followed by completing a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southampton.
