Catherine Mackenzie is a skilled data engineer currently working at The Oakland Group since September 2020, previously holding the title of junior data engineer. Catherine has experience as a junior data scientist at UCAS from September 2019 to September 2020, and as volunteer coordinator for Sight Concern Worcestershire between April 2018 and September 2019. Additionally, Catherine served as a charity trustee at Groundwork South Yorkshire from March 2014 to September 2018 and was a doctoral researcher at the University of Sheffield from October 2013 to December 2017. Earlier roles include catering assistant at the National Trust and research assistant at the University of York, as well as a research intern at the Centre for GeoGenetics, University of Copenhagen. Catherine holds a BA Hons in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, obtained between 2009 and 2012.
