Andrew Gibson is a skilled data engineer with extensive experience in the baseball industry, currently serving with the Oakland Athletics since October 2022. Prior to this role, Andrew worked with the Pittsburgh Pirates for nearly a decade, holding various positions including Assistant Director of Player Development, Informatics, Assistant Director of Baseball Informatics, Quantitative Analyst, and Systems Analyst. Earlier in Andrew's career, experience was gained as a Programmer/Analyst at Baseball Info Solutions from May 2011 to December 2012. Andrew holds a Master of Science in Analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, obtained between 2018 and 2020, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology, earned from 2004 to 2009.
