Giri Iyer is a seasoned leader in the energy sector with extensive experience in grid resilience and smart grid technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Program Leader at Oak Ridge National Laboratory since October 2024, Giri is involved in expanding grid resilience initiatives in collaboration with the Department of Energy. As a Board Member of GridWise Alliance and former Vice President of Corporate Development at Sentient Energy, Giri has contributed to the advancement of grid monitoring and control solutions. Previous roles include Executive Vice President and General Manager at Optimal Strategix Group, Managing Partner at Iyer Innovations, and various leadership positions at GE Renewable Energy and GE Healthcare. Giri holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela.
