Edmon Begoli

Director, Center For AI Security Research (caiser) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory

Edmon Begoli holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, obtained in May 2014, and has been a Visiting Scholar in Computer Science at UC Berkeley since February 2019. Currently, Edmon serves as the Director of the Center for AI Security Research (CAISER) and the Director of Scalable Protected Data Facilities (SPDF) at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory's National Center for Computational Sciences. Previous roles include Joint Faculty Professor of Computer Science at the University of Tennessee Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Chief Data Officer at the Joint Institute for Computational Sciences, and Chief Technology Officer at PYA Analytics. Edmon also contributed to the field as a Researcher and Chief Architect for the KDD Program at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
