With over 600.000 lawyers and almost 100.000 law clerks, the Brazilian Bar Association is made by a Federal ("Conselho Federal") and several Regional Associations ("Seccionais"), one per state and federal district. It fully and legally controls law practice by private attorneys in Brazil.
