Jessica Smith, LCSW, is an experienced clinical social worker currently working at New York University since September 2024. Prior to this role, Jessica served as a social worker at United Community Schools and as a mental health therapist at Greenpoint Psychotherapy, providing individual therapy and tailored treatment plans to clients. Jessica has maintained a strong focus on mental health, administering various therapeutic approaches, and conducting psycho-educational research on diagnoses such as anxiety and depression. Earlier experience includes working at BronxWorks as a social worker/client care coordinator, where Jessica supported families in transitional housing, and as a graduate peer writing consultant at UMB Writing Center.
