Daniela Kirsch is a highly experienced software engineer and technology leader with a robust background in building and managing scalable systems across various industries. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at The New York Times since December 2023, Daniela specializes in architecting resilient backend systems utilizing AWS and Typescript. Previously, as Tech Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Patch.com, Daniela led the design and maintenance of a widely used hyper-local news platform. Daniela co-founded NameFace, developing innovative facial recognition solutions, and was the CEO of HelloPlugin, where significant web development projects for major clients were executed from inception.
