Cam Rodriguez is an accomplished journalist with a focus on data and investigative reporting. Currently serving as a Local Investigations Fellow at The New York Times, Cam investigates issues affecting residents of Illinois. Previous experience includes work as a Data Reporter for the Better Government Association, contributing to the Illinois Answers Project, and serving as a fellow in the Racial Justice Reporting Hub at the Chicago Reader. Cam has also worked as a Data and Graphics Reporter for Chalkbeat, collaborating on education-related graphics and data analysis. Additional roles include freelance reporting for South Side Weekly, managing editor at 14 East Magazine, and a data intern at USA TODAY. Cam holds a Master of Arts in Data Journalism and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from DePaul University.
