Alex Lovibond is an experienced environmental professional with a diverse background in environmental science and law. Currently serving as a Senior Environmental Advisor at Nyrstar since August 2020, Alex has a strong track record in project management, environmental compliance, and stakeholder engagement, having held senior roles at em&c Australia and Enviropacific Services Pty Ltd prior to this position. With a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Tasmania, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Groundwater Hydrology from Flinders University, Alex combines a solid educational foundation with practical expertise in environmental monitoring, risk management, and project coordination. Previous involvement with Hobart Brewers Inc. as Treasurer and Communications Director highlights Alex's commitment to community engagement and passion for environmental issues.
