Talia Burstein, MD, is currently a Resident Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital since May 2023. Burstein has been a volunteer at the Gift of Life Bone Marrow Foundation since August 2015, focusing on organizing bone marrow drives to locate matches for patients with blood cancers. Prior experience includes working as an Anesthesia Technician and serving as an Ethics Intern at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center from May 2015 to July 2019, where Burstein assisted in rewriting an ethics handbook and shadowing palliative care consults. Additionally, Burstein worked as a Teaching Assistant at Emory University from January 2016 to June 2018, supporting students in understanding course material under the guidance of Dr. Kathleen Campbell. Burstein holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, achieved in 2023, and is currently in residency training at Columbia University. Educational background includes a degree in Human Health from Emory University, completed in 2018, and graduation from Brookline High School in 2014.
