Aleksandra Urban has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research. Aleksandra is currently working as a Scientist II at Nykode Therapeutics since May 2023. Previously, from July 2021 to May 2023, they served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Oslo universitetssykehus. Prior to that, from January 2017 to May 2021, they were a PHD candidate at Medical University of Gdansk. Aleksandra also gained valuable experience as a Visiting Researcher at Radboudumc for a short period in September 2018. Aleksandra started their career as a volunteer at Uniwersytet Gdański from September 2015 to September 2016. Aleksandra further enhanced their skills as an MSc Student and Laboratory Volunteer at Medical University of Gdansk, Department of Medical Biotechnology, Laboratory of Cell Biology, from October 2012 to July 2014. Additionally, they served as a Laboratory Volunteer at University of Gdansk, Laboratory of Protein Biochemistry, from October 2011 to January 2012. Overall, they have gained extensive experience and expertise in various research roles in the scientific field.

Aleksandra Urban completed their Bachelor's degree in Biotechnologia from the Intercolegiate Faculty of Biotechnology from 2009 to 2012. Aleksandra then pursued their Master's degree in Biotechnologia from the same institution, completing it from 2012 to 2014.
