Benjamin Butz, a CISSP and MBA candidate at UW Foster School of Business, has extensive experience in security operations and risk management. Currently serving as the Security Operations Manager at NYDIG since March 2022, Benjamin previously held the role of Senior Manager for Security Engineering and Incident Response at Zillow. Additional experience includes teaching as an Adjunct Professor at Century College and working as a Lead Security Analyst at Target, where responsibilities included cyber security incident response and forensic investigations. Benjamin's military background and leadership roles, including Commander at VFW Post 9625, complement a career that began with various positions in the US Army focused on information security and management. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Capella University and a Computer Programming diploma from Minneapolis Business College.
