Rachel McKenzie has over 25 years of work experience in the field of human resources. Rachel is currently working as the Head of HR at Nimans since April 2022. Prior to this, they held the same position at Nycomm, where they managed the HR department for over 370 staff members across multiple UK locations. Rachel also had a career break in Munich from May 2017 to August 2020.
Rachel has worked as the Human Resources Manager at BGF (Business Growth Fund) from April 2016 to April 2017. Before that, Rachel worked at NGA Human Resources, where they held multiple roles including UKIE HR Lead and HR Business Partner from 2009 to 2016. In these roles, they were responsible for the People Plan, organizational design, and driving growth plans in revenue and customer satisfaction.
Rachel's experience in the field of HR also includes their role as the Head of Human Resources at MoneyPlus Group from February 2007 to April 2009. In this position, they established the HR department, managed resourcing and employee benefits, and implemented HR software systems.
Prior to that, Rachel co-founded and ran a corporate training and development company, Newleaf California Training & Development LLC, from January 2005 to December 2006. Rachel also had a brief experience at Hilton Chicago USA as the Director of Performance Improvement in 2004, and worked at Hilton Group PLC as a Regional HR & Training Manager from 1997 to 2003.
Throughout their career, Rachel has demonstrated expertise in HR strategy, people management, organizational design, and training and development. Rachel has a strong track record of partnering with key stakeholders and driving growth and improvement initiatives.
Rachel McKenzie attended Wrekin College in Shropshire from 1989 to 1991, where they obtained their A levels in Business Studies, Economics, and Art. Following this, they pursued a BA (Hons) in Business Studies at Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University from 1991 to 1995. During their time at university, Rachel specialized in Business Studies, HR, and Training.
