Rafael P. Fernandez, MBA, is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in nuclear medicine. Since 2006, Rafael has served as the Associate Director of Nuclear Medicine at NYC Health + Hospitals, overseeing the Nuclear Medicine departments at Jacobi and North Central Bronx Hospital, and ensuring compliance with multiple NYC Office of Radiological Health inspections. Rafael has held various roles, including Assistant Radiation Safety Officer and member of several committees focused on radiopharmaceutical vendor selection and hazardous materials. Previously, Rafael was the Coordinating Manager at Jacobi Medical Center from 2002 to 2006, where oversight included managing staff schedules and patient scheduling for the Nuclear Medicine team.
