Jeff Cunningham is a technology and intellectual property expert with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as Fellow of Technology and IP and Advanced Technology Director for Automotive Strategy at NXP Semiconductors since February 2015. With a focus on optimizing technology and complex intellectual property for automotive microchips, Cunningham has also directed advanced technology initiatives across consumer and industrial markets, emphasizing the Power-Performance-Area-Cost-Time Equation. Prior to NXP, experience included roles at Freescale as Platform Manager and Research and Development Engineer, and earlier positions at Motorola and IBM. Cunningham's career began with service as an F-15E Head Mechanic in the US Air Force, followed by a degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
