Chris Jensen is executive vice president and chief human resources officer of NXP Semiconductors. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of the company’s global human resources function, driving programs and process to enable NXP’s business performance.
Chris has been with NXP since the merger of Freescale and NXP in 2015, having been a key leader in the integration of the two companies. Prior to the merger, Chris was Vice President of Global Compensation, Benefits and HR Operations, where he led these functions through multiple transactions, including the company’s leveraged buyout in 2006, public offering in 2011 and ultimately the merger.
He has extensive experience in leading the various functions across human resources, with strength in change management, compensation and benefits design, and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to Freescale, Chris held executive human resources positions at Applied Materials and Tandem Computers.
In addition to his corporate roles, Chris has been an adjunct professor in the Executive MBA Program at Baylor University since 2007.
Chris earned his bachelor’s of science degree in organizational behavior from the University of San Francisco and graduated Beta Gamma Sigma with his MBA from Baylor University.
