Alex Harris is an experienced Principal Process Engineer at NXP Semiconductors since December 2022, specializing in wafer electroplating processes and analytical chemical labs for GaN semiconductor fabrication. Previously, Alex served as an Associate Process Development Engineer at FUJIFILM Electronic Materials U.S.A., Inc., where management of new product introduction processes for CMP slurry and chemical products was a key focus. Prior roles include Senior Process Development Engineer and Graduate Researcher at the University of Colorado Boulder, leading contributions to biohybrid systems research, and System Assessment Engineer at Ingersoll Rand, applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies for optimizing pneumatic-related production processes. Alex's early career included process engineering at Sprig & Fern Brewery and research assistance in life cycle assessments and particle separation reactors at the University of Arizona and RWTH Aachen University, respectively. Academic qualifications include a PhD and MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arizona.
