Pernelle Klein is a highly experienced biochemist with a focus on the purification and characterization of challenging membrane proteins, particularly GPCRs, currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Nxera Pharma since December 2020. Pernelle's background includes a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Structural Biology from Ecole Doctorale des Sciences de la Vie et de la Santé, with prior roles as a Doctoral Researcher at IGBMC and a Protein Purification Engineer at Plateforme IMPReSs. Pernelle has contributed to various projects, including the development of thermostable reverse transcriptases and the study of epigenetic interactions. Educational qualifications encompass an engineering degree in Biotechnology from ESBS and a Master in Structural Biology and Bioinformatics from the University of Strasbourg.
