Joris Kooiker has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Joris started their career as a Stagiair at de Jong & Laan accountants in September 2005, where they gained initial experience. Joris then transitioned to Heuver Den Ham BV, where they completed their HBO graduation in July 2006.

In 2008, Joris undertook an internship at Monumental Life Insurance Company in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Joris'smain objective was to identify possible improvements within the customer service department to enhance the company's responsiveness to customers.

Following their internship, Joris joined Eaton Corporation in December 2008, where they completed their university graduation in August 2009.

From September 2009 to January 2011, Joris worked as a Managing Personal and Corporate Finance at Van der Arend Markslag & Partners B.V., primarily assisting customers in personal and corporate finance matters.

In January 2011, Joris joined Webprint as a Controller. During their tenure, they were responsible for all the financial activities within the Webprint Group. Joris'srole involved managing all aspects of accounting, such as multi-country taxes, external reporting, and management accounting. Joris focused on areas such as E-commerce, Production, and HRM. Joris remained with Webprint until January 2017.

Most recently, Joris joined NX Filtration in October 2016 and currently holds the position of Controller. NX Filtration is a young and fast-growing company that develops and manufactures hollow fiber membranes and modules for use in ultrafiltration and nanofiltration applications. The company's technology is suited for various applications like waste water re-use, surface water polishing, decentralized water treatment, color removal, softening, and partial desalination for industrial, process, and municipal applications.

Joris Kooiker began their education at Canisius from 1997 to 2002, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
