Martijn de Wilde, PhD, currently serves as Programme Officer at NWO (Dutch Research Council) since April 2024. Prior to this role, Martijn de Wilde was employed at Nestlé as a Sr. Specialist in Neurobiology from 2019 to 2022, where responsibilities included leading collaborative research projects focused on nutritional interventions for brain health. At Reckitt Benckiser, Inc., from 2018 to 2019, Martijn de Wilde held the title of Principal Scientist - Brain Platform Lead, concentrating on the biological relevance of ingredients for nutritional products aimed at brain development. Martijn de Wilde spent 16 years at Nutricia Research as a Senior Neuroscientist, coordinating intellectual property protection and developing nutritional rationales for medical food. Early career experience includes a position as a Scientist at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen from 1999 to 2002. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from the University of Groningen (2011-2013) and earlier studies at the University of Groningen and Het Van Hall Instituut.
