Lieven Marckx, CISSP, currently serves as an Information Security Officer at NWO (Nederlandse Organisatie voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek) and is the Founder of Networckx, both positions held since early 2024. Previously, Lieven held key roles at Crelan as Head of IT Security Operations and IT Security Officer, where responsibilities included managing security processes and improving the organization's security posture. Experience also includes roles as a Security Engineer/Architect for the European Parliament, Network Security Engineer for SD Worx, and various engineering and support positions with AUSY and Proximus. Education includes studies at Intec Brussel and Thomas More University of Applied Sciences, contributing to a well-rounded background in information security and network engineering.
