Elizabeth Hoepfinger is a Computational Linguist at nVoq Incorporated since August 2023, focusing on the application of large language models (LLMs) to enhance speech recognition accuracy. Responsibilities include training an acoustic model with the Kaldi framework, curating specialized LLMs, data engineering for AI model training, and improving an automatic speech recognition pipeline for post-acute care. Previously, Elizabeth served as a Software Engineer Intern at nVoq Incorporated from May 2022 to August 2022, contributing to data preparation and model training for a speech-to-text application in healthcare, along with developing a web scraper for FDA data. Elizabeth's early experience as a Development Intern at Solution Builders, LLC involved creating web solutions and researching website development platforms. Elizabeth holds a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science from the University of Georgia.
