Brant Coghlan is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in firmware development, software architecture, and project management. Currently serving as Firmware Manager at nVent since January 2022, Brant leads the Thermal Management Firmware Team in creating embedded firmware for global customers. Prior roles include Interim Head of Software at Proxilogica, where Brant developed an AgTech IoT sensor device, and a robust freelance consulting career that spanned nearly four decades, providing solutions for small businesses and startups. Brant also held significant positions at Levven, Centre for Smart Transportation, Mediashaker, and the Alberta Ingenuity Centre for Machine Learning. Notably, Brant was among the first to be invited by Google as a Google Partner and managed a leading research centre in Machine Learning. Brant's educational background includes studies at the University of Alberta.
