Robert Cota has extensive work experience in the power delivery, design/engineering, and surveying fields. Robert currently holds the position of Vice President of Power Delivery, Overhead T&D Design/Engineering at NV5 since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Director at NV5 from July 2020 to July 2023. Robert also served as a Senior Designer, Program Manager T&D Major Projects, and Project Manager at NV5 from October 2014 to July 2023. Additionally, they worked as a PLS-CADD technician at Sure Power Consulting from August 2014 to November 2014, and as a PLS-CADD Technician at Geodigital International Inc from October 2011 to September 2014. Robert'searly career involved working as a Land Survey technician at Twin Cities Surveying, Inc from January 2006 to April 2011, where they handled various tasks such as ALTA survey mapping, as-built mapping & construction staking, corner records, and topographic mapping.

From 2006 to 2012, Robert Cota attended Cuesta College, majoring in Civil Engineering.
