Jesse Eyer has over 20 years of experience in the aerospace industry, with a varied background in spacecraft engineering, mission architecture, and system design. Jesse has worked with various companies in the sector, including NUVIEW, Masten Space Systems, Planetary Transportation Systems GmbH, Planet, COM DEV, Airbus, Canadian Space Agency, National Research Council Canada, and Joint Astronomy Centre. Throughout their career, they have managed complex projects, developed technical requirements, designed spacecrafts, and conducted data analysis. Some of their notable achievements include working on a NASA-funded lunar mission, developing a complete lunar lander, and optimizing revisit, coverage, data latency, and responsiveness for Planet's constellation design. Eyer also has experience in managing teams, conducting simulations, and negotiating strategic partnerships.
Jesse Eyer obtained a B.Sc in Honours Physics Co-op from the University of Victoria in 2002. In 2003, they obtained an M.Sc in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Jesse Eyer completed their education by obtaining a Ph.D in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Toronto in 2009.
