Steven Slusarz currently serves as Facilities Manager at Danbury Hospital, a position held since August 2023. With extensive experience in the fire service, Steven has been involved with Amogerone Vol. Fire Co. #1 since August 1991, holding positions from Firefighter to Chief over a span of 26 years. Prior to their role at Danbury Hospital, Steven worked as Chief Plant Operator at Greenwich Hospital from March 2017 to August 2023. Additional career highlights include owning SJS Service from November 2012 to April 2017, serving as an HVAC Technician for the Town of Greenwich from May 2011 to March 2017, and working as a Service Technician at ENCON Heating, A/C & Energy Solutions from May 2002 to May 2011. Steven's foundational training includes service in the United States Air Force from 1993 to 1998.
